Mightymariner
Just spotted this advertised.....it doesn't mention use of guns but no harm in asking! BTW, it's in the Boston, Lincs area. Seasonal Pigeon Control This seasonal role requires you to monitor growing vegetable crops for damage from pigeons and rabbits. Working with Kites, gas guns and netting https://www.fish4.co.uk/job/9238170/seasonal-pigeon-control/?tmsb=oxfphgg&tmsl=similar-jobs-job-detail&tmty=w&tmcv=82&tmcs=4bl00pe
JDog
Pigeons must be a real problem to that particular farming operation if they can afford to make it a full time position. And in the normal PW way............ 'shame it isn't closer'.

la bala
I did same sort of job about 10 years ago, I was offered payment but declined after speaking to BASC. I wouldnt have been covered by their insurance if I were doing it for payment, Never the less it was a great job, unlimited fuel, rockets, bangers and cartridges and many hundreds of acres of newly planted Brocolli Cabbage, Cauliflower, Calibri plants to cover. That was just before the packers and supermarkets kicked off about pellets in the produce.
