Looks bad for them. We don’t know what gun they were using or what their backstop was but IMO it could be lamping with 22lr subsonics, which are a terrible round. They will try to find some stone to hit in the soil and bounce. I use .17hmr for most lamping on flat fields, you need good valleys and a lot of care to choose a decent backstop for .22lr subs. They are certainly not a novice round.

hello, could very well be, depends how close the land they were shooting on to Woolpit business park where the police report stated and also at 11.55 pm

It sounds like the two "hunters" will not be hunting again anytime soon .................... hopefully! 

Only one will have badly assessed the shot and squeezed the trigger. If he puts his hand up it might not affect his mate who might have been looking elsewhere with say a spotter.
