DUNKS
Going on a spree. Just had an email from HMRC telling me I am due a tax refund of £698 which can only be paid into my bank if I claim within 24 hrs. Now where did I put those bank details? oowee
Strangely enough my daughter in law who lives in the UK just received a cheque for $1200 from the US treasury but it is for real as part of the US Covid hardship fund. A nice little bonus.
steve_b_wales
I'm due to get a £500 'bonus' for working (social care) through 'lockdown', and this is genuine.

A nice little bonus. My son and his wife have just received that $1200 each as well. The Democrats are whinging like mad because the illegals aren't getting it too. Jeeze this payment is based on the taxes paid over the last years and as the illegals don't pay tax why the hell should they be entitled to it?? Not as if they were living in the UK is it. For my daughter in law paying tax in the UK it will just about cover the costs for her tax atorney to do her three years of nil tax returns due for to the IRS.
