JDog
There is a Bee eater in North East Lincolnshire. I will try to see it tomorrow. No doubt Twenty has seen a whole flock of them performing aerial manoeuvres over Minchinhampton Common.

twenty
A pair of Bee eaters nested in Herefordshire in 2005, along the banks of the River Wye, they had hatched their chicks in their river bank nest hole, but were predated by a fox, and the birds left..................RSPB were supposed to be wardening the nest site................well played (not). They are from Southern Europe, North Africa and Western Asia.............Occasional birds venture to more north westerly areas, like the UK.
