My guess stock disposal from a shop flooded earlier in the year plenty of places were under water for a couple of days back in Feb, (seems an awfully long time ago)  possible a gun shop was flooded? Locked up under water for a couple of weeks?

For what it’s worth, I have bought a fair few lower priced guns from Holts and have not had a duffer yet. Unfortunately the pictures tend not to be complete in their catalogues, but they are a reputation based business and the descriptions are , in my experience, accurate. I hope if the OP goes for one it is a bargain and serviceable/easily repairable

I think that Ithaca was offered up last time round aswell.

Wouldn't mind it myself to be honest 😂

One has no safety catch (or spring and detent pin) but both look ok, priced higher than most pumps (as always)

Ahh that's it, couldn't remember what put me off last time.

I keep telling myself to hold off incase I come across an 1897.

There might be 2 m37 Ithaca’s in the auction, sure I saw more than one listed.

hello, i only see one £150/£200, its not so much bidding but the extra cost to have sent to a RFD

As an aside, if I don’t get these two🤪😀, I can make a left or right handed (or even ambidextrous) safety with pin and spring for the M37

A £200 buy would cost £260 with commission plus delivery. If collection is possible you will save £30 - £40

Thanks for that, not sure how I missed it. It's nice but I'm not sure it would scratch that exposed hammer itch.
