I went for CENS

googled a local hearing centre

went in, made a mould of my ear canals ( about 20 minutes)

sent them away

came back a week later

£95 all in

the modules are removable and can be upgraded to,electronic later if required

As above. I have used my Emtec plugs for.......dunno, at least fifteen years, maybe twenty.

I do remember they cost me £60.

Do Emtech do the 'speaker' ones as well ....whatever you call them ?  My old ones are not fitting as well these days, had them a fair while and will need to replace.

I don’t know Neville, but I would think they do.
I can’t give you a phone number. I just looked on my Emtec box and the last 3 digits are worn off. Address is Downton Stables, Downton No. Shrewsbury on my box but it is very old.

I would go for Cens passive. The big advantage is if you want to go electronic Is you can upgrade And use the same plugs.

Iv'e tried several different types of plugs including emtec. But iv'e gone back to my Peltor Sporttacs. In my opinion they are better than plugs.

Downside of them is they can be a bit clammy in the hot weather and until you get your mount right you can knock the gun stock with them.

But i have only done this when i'm dry mounting.
