Walker570 Posted May 22, 2020 Report Share Posted May 22, 2020 Would make a wall feature with some plants for sure. If I remember all of those in our cow sheds where galavanised. A coat of paint and some plants that will survive in dry conditions because there will not be much soil in there. Yes that could look quite attractive. hodge911 Posted May 22, 2020 Author Report Share Posted May 22, 2020 the threaded fittings look like brass [ I haven't actually got it yet my mate got it from a farm he has permission on] I am thinking of removing them and giving them a good polish . I,m also thinking of giving it a soak in rust remover before a good wire brushing but what would be a good coating to rustproof it if I don't paint it with a colour ?
