wigeon jim
Hi, anyone use these cheap rechargeable lamps off eBay for foxing and do they hold a charge ok? Jim.
oowee
Which ones? There are lots. I have a spotting lamp cost £50 off the bay hand held, rechargable with red clip on filter. It's excellent, super light and easily lasts a night. I don't use it for foxing for the last few years as I went to NV. Works great as a security torch. 🙂

I use one at work I got from the local farm machinery shop. Spot on, use it for chasing burglars, hare coursers and quick lamping trips when I cant be bothered to put the big one on the battery. edenman
Jim. I got a scope mounted led ray a good few years back and it works away fine for a few hours. The rechargeable batteries that came with it were fairly cheap ones. My brother advised me to buy more expensive ones and they are a lot better.
