Shooting in wales

Recommended Posts

Had a call of farmer there are loads of rabbits on cattle fields I said I will get in touch with Police to see if I can shoot during lock down

firearms called what do I want to know I said rabbits digging fields up with cattle in them farmer worried about holes in fields.

He said if they where eating crops ie wheat/barley or other crops I could go but not just because they are digging holes in fields it’s not crop protection.

I should have said what about cattle protection but I was stuck for words let’s hope Drakeford let we out this week as it getting a bit much now

when my lads in England phone up saying that they have been out shooting and fishing

reply i got by email from NWP was if its essential work then crack on ,get written authotity to do it and ring 101 only if there is a chance the activity will cause the police to be called out.

sensible advice in my books.

i'll send you e mails if you want em as a proof , pm me your e-mail to forward.

Crop protection, hay and silage is classed as a crop, ask farmer for letter stating your needed for crop protection, call 101 name of farm time starting - leaving. Get ref number off them and crack on. Been out Twice this week for same reason.
