When we see an animal, he goes in to stealth mode, before that, he is stomping around, chatting away! One rabbit at 50 metres, the other at 75 metres. Mid neck shots on the turkeys at 50 metres. As we were heading home, the boy spooked a rabbit which ran and stopped. It was about 40 metres away, easy shot. Reticle perfectly lined up on the bunny twice. Twice I pulled the trigger and click, no discharge. Luckiest bunny in the world! Houseplant Posted June 7, 2020 Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2020 Pretty much, but the "R" thing is a bit of a broad stroke. Basically, in the warmer months they eat bugs which taints the meat with a bitter flavour. In the colder months, they eat grass, so no bad taste.
