It's an ongoing battle. When we see an animal, he goes in to stealth mode, before that, he is stomping around, chatting away!  We have multiple "discussions" about it on any one day in the field!

It's been a bumper year for rabbits. More around, or at least visible in summer. Fewer now. Lots of turkeys.

Thanks. I was shooting well yesterday. One rabbit at 50 metres, the other at 75 metres. Mid neck shots on the turkeys at 50 metres. As we were heading home, the boy spooked a rabbit which ran and stopped. It was about 40 metres away, easy shot. Reticle perfectly lined up on the bunny twice. Twice I pulled the trigger and click, no discharge. Luckiest bunny in the world!
