Malcberry Bowie Knife

This Knife is of the highest quality with hand forged high carbon steel  clip point blade with a saw tooth top edge.

This knife is made by TRUELOVE of MALCBERRY ENGLAND with the date '1897' stamped on the Blade ("1897" being the steel)

The knife is stamped on one side MALCBERRY Sheffield "1897". The iconic curved hilt is made of stag horn with three brass center pins and a brass finger guard. The knife measures 9.5" inches Long with a 5" inch Blade. Very slight tarnishing which will easily polish out.

I'm not sure (somebody will correct me) if it's not a skinning knife by Stuart Mitchell snr of Pat Mitchell knives?

£130 posted thanks

That knife is a malkberry Skinner made be Stuart Mitchell and the father of the current Stuart Mitchell whose mother is also a famous knife maker Pat Mitchell

The knife was made in the 1970s using steel from 1897 hence the date
