I've opened a bottle of the Laphroaig this evening-I see what they mean on the label as the 'peat reek'. little bit too much for me.

Had a some Jura Journey last week and that was very nice.

anyway, its open so it will have to persevered with.

If you don't like it, I'll happily drink it for you to save you the trouble.

I love the smokey peaty smell and taste, but it's not for everyone.

A very kind gesture-I picked it on offer at Sainbury's for £22 yesterday.

the more you spend -the more you save!

I’ve got a bottle of this waiting in the uk for me on my return. Excellent reviews and made in Devon and owned by  UK Veterans

not the cheapest but can’t wait to try

Leeds pale was always my favourite on tap, moving to Lincolnshire I haven’t had it for a while. Don’t judge but I am partial to a Stella Artois.

Nice pint that one, I am in Leeds reasonably often with work (in normal circumstances) and one of the pubs near the station serves it.  There's another that does proper Tetleys on handpull, which couldnt be more different to the rubbish canned version.

I'm afraid that single malts are lost on me. Have to have ginger ale with blended whisky. Heathen perhaps, but it's down to personal taste I suppose.

Adnams Broadside on draught does it for me.

Also, when available the odd pint of Late Red from our local brewery Shepherd Neame draught brewed in the autumn. Lovely.

A special tot.....

You a navy man then?

Finished work early, dismantled and felled a dead willow..... a tidy job jobbed before the rain set in.

Home now with a couple of Wadworths finest......
