Wb123
Bought a blank firing revolver and some blanks for the dog last week. I failed to read the box on the blanks and have had four days of tinnitus as they were cattle slaughter blanks. In the spirit of avoiding repeats I thought it might help to remind anyone else who struggles to read instructions that sometimes it’s a good idea. SpringDon
Not sure buying a revolver for the dog is such a good idea even if it is blank firing. Perhaps a semi automatic would be better.
old'un
Bloody hell, how many did you fire?
treetree
What's a cattle slaughter blank?
arjimlad
Yes, I'm sure I have heard of the right to keep and arm bears, but didn't realise that this might also apply to man's best friend.

I can confirm however that by some miracle the dog certainly isn’t gunshy, though I may be now. 6 minutes ago, treetree said: What's a cattle slaughter blank? Used for driving some form of bolt gun though a cows head. A cows head I now assume is armoured like a battleship.

Benthejockey
They only drive the bolt through not the whole gun otherwise its a hell of a blank 😉😂
