To all the protestors who have it in their simple minds that being a person of colour  puts you at a disadvantage in the U.K.

This young lady has seen and been up against REAL life threatening discrimination, that thanks to this countries tolerant attitudes you will never have to experience or endure.

Despite the hell of her previous life she honoured us by choosing to come to our country in the hope of a better future ,after putting in the necessary hard work she has succeeded in her quest .

She didn't need to march or protest, or deface and destroy statues to achieve her success just hard work and a belief that THIS country would give her the chance .

Malala ,congratulations on your degree and thank you for choosing the U.K. to fulfill your potential .

Congratulations and let her achievement be an inspiration to all who are oppressed and might be tempted to defeatism, whether black or white and any colour in between. In this country we have responded and facilitated, but it was this young lady who had the determination and right attitude. She is a great role model. 👍

A very fitting tribute on this of all days #worldrefugeeday

To clarify one point though, she originally arrived in the UK in an induced coma, so I think we should also be proud of the fact that "we chose her".
