Old Boggy
I'm sure that this has been raised before, but I've just received an email stating that 'TV Licensing' have been unable to take their last payment from my direct debit and could I click on the link to set up a new direct debit. Had this before and immediately deleted it. Hopefully this does not catch anyone. Is there anyone who I can report this to so that others may be warned ? Jaymo
As with many email phishing scams, click on the message header and see the actual address of the sender and if see if it has come from a legit sender and not ajdjtffjd.scam@gmail.com etc
matone
Had the same email a few times,I`m sure it will deceive a few people sadly with whatever consequences ....why these people are not stopped by those whose systems they use is a mystery!!!!!!! Cosmicblue
TV Licensing are aware I believe. I've had a couple of the scam emails too.

Paul5tag
To avoid this happening in the future, cancel your t v licence direct debit, but not before you have cancelled your tv licence ! Defund the BBC
London Best
Why anybody would have a direct debit for anything is beyond me. Standing order, yes, but not DD where the amounts are variable at the recipients discretion.
