figgy
Rum and pep to clean the dust from taste buds and throat to be able to savour the pints. Barbeque summer drink to quench the thirst while burning the meat, turbo shandy, half a pint of Stella or similar strong lager and half a pint of lemon vodka ice drink, served ice cold The only thing to serve in rum is another rum. Can't beat a nice half pint of dark rum mmm 😋 just a little tot.

I couldn’t tell you why I started drinking it, I must have picked it up from the fishermen. Used to drink it mainly in the pubs around the Old Town. The Manchester Arms on Scale Lane was a regular haunt. I found some peppermint cordial at Christmas and have been having a few and reminiscing.
