New tyres time on the bike

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Well as a few people know I’ve had a bad time over lockdown . After my wife left me (long story ) I lost a lot of weight and I thought I’d put a positive on it.
I cycled almost  every night for the last 4/5 months and clocked around a 1000 miles on my sports tracker  . I’ve lost just under 3st and 3” off my waist.

The tyres I had on were some I was given 10 years ago and had gone hard to the point of no grip. I found this out when I crashed last week damaging my rota cuff again 😂
my asthma has almost gone after suffering in years of dust and my leg strength has gone through the roof.

I honestly should thank to so many off this forum for being on the other end of the phone or messaging me .

I’m by no means a poser but I kept myself a photo diary so I could monitor myself.
To say I’m chuffed is an understatement and it’s helped so much in more ways than one .

Looking good there mate, not sure if you can be trusted with a road bike, but even a hybrid would transform your cycling.

Which reminds me I need new inertubes 😁😁
