old'un
You can eat any meat so long as its cooked properly and there’s no cross contamination with raw meat, if you were inclined you could skin, cook and eat the rats you shoot around the farm yard. ClemFandango
Isn't this a little bit hypocritical on a site where people advocate eating hares, rabbits, squirrels, pigeons etc etc. I have even seen badger hams discussed on here. I remember a thread by a man from Germany that ate Coypu, A while ago I was selling rabbit pies and stews to visitors [before our latest mixy outbreak] but im now wondering if they would be as well received, Im surprised the vegans aren't all over these flesh eating illnesses ! 7daysinaweek
"To sate your appetite" read Daniel Defoe's "A Journal Of The Plague Year." It's a fascinating read and chronicles one mans experiences of the "Great plague of London 1665", it will make your toes curl! Re this case media sensationalism again. A course of oral Doxycycline antibiotics at the agreeable cost of £10 treats your "Yersinia Pestis". Happy Days! I am absolutely not surprised at Defoe writing that. I can see him having a morbid, even comic fascination with such things. 3 hours ago, Mr_Nobody said: Fortunately it's easy to cure. A course of antibiotics takes care of it. Yup. Reputation before reality, once again. People are far more ready to believe the panic stations message than the one that says 'calm down!' Just wait until we get into the world of viruses being used to cure bacterial illness (not that far away, I don't think, judging by the research). I can't wait to see the anti-vaxxers going into meltdown over that!
