I only ask as I have just had a look at the price of components to do 100 carts and then the price of 100 carts on just cartridges. I was surprised to see that there was almost no difference and i didn't even add on the price of primers and powder. Does rolling your own make that much of a difference in performance?? I also think with the gradual phase out of lead the price of steel carts will be coming down anyway. I havnt reloaded any shotgun carts but reload for all my rifles apart from .22rf.
