diana 52

been looking at a diana 52 in .22    anyone had 1 before? been used to a bsa lightening in soringer so wondered how it compares... thanks

the diana 52 in .22  is a well made air riffle  and is twice the gun  of the bsa you would not go back to the bsa

Brilliant rifle.  It's designed for FAC power levels though, you lug a lot of weight around for a 12 ft-lb.  Much better than your Lightning tbh.   Get it on ticket if you can, at 20+ ft-lb it's a stunning piece of kit.

Diana 52 what a great rifle.

Had other springers over the years Bsa’s HW95 but always kept the ‘52.

Its built for fac power but I had it short stroked for a smoother,quicker lock time and it shoots much sweeter.

Yes,they are a heavy rifle,but that makes them very stable to shoot.

They do come up for sale from time to time in guns shops and often quite cheaply.

Would never sell mine.

I had a Diana 1 in177 in 1954 if that's any help. :whistling::innocent:
