Batttery and seat

Recommended Posts

I get the used batteries from the local invalid electric buggy repairers. Mostly they are 12v 12 amp/hr.. They do not have the stamina to power the electric wheelchair, but keep a rotary going for several hours. Just use the correct charger for these batteries.

Thats what I use, mine still take 13.43v when charged, they need replacing in pairs on either a scooter or wheelchair which is why they get sold on. My last pair, one fine, now on magnet work, the other only taking  7v. But it runs my daughters outside water pump in the pond 🙂

Incidently, a normal battery charger is fine but is about the same price as a specialist charger. I have by need both. The specialist just more compact and convenient.

I have one, it's up for sale as soon as I'm well enough to get into the garage and photograph it. Too heavy for me and to be brutally honest if its not pegged down firmly you can fall off it. Ask me how I know that🤔

I've had it about 3 or 4 months, it was about £40, used it twice, fell off it twice, bought a Begara. Begara needs extra padding as well as being expensive, but you get what you pay for.

This is what I bought as everything else out of stock. I cut the arm off and used the arm rest as an extra back rest. The gun rest bolts off.

As I said, not well at mo, so no picture, but if you're in driving distance of me, by all means, come, borrow it and if it works for you £20?

Buy it, that's a hell of a good price. Nighthawk sell them directly as well as Amazon. They work well although you might have to play around with the leg adjustment for uneven ground. If you have surplus cash then Idleback but generally out of most people's price range.

Message them at A1 the ones from nighthawk may look the same but are not as good quality plus A1 after service is top notch

The ones on eBay look identical to A1Decoy and are called 'Commander' so assume to be the same and priced at £59.99.

However, I do agree that A1 service is brilliant, so my advice also would be to try A1 first.

Apologies as I'm sure these have been asked before but I'm after a new battery for flapper (mine only lasted 2 hrs yesterday) and a new seat for the hide, ideal a bucket style as I find it really useful but with a back to it, any recommendations?

Thanks

Hi just got back to the keepers house. Local man who loves ferreting is a fire alarm chap. He's dropped a load of 5 7 12 and 17 amp batteries and said run them flat charge them up and there good to go.

Worth a try. 👍

I had similar with mine and sent a photo of the bad weld to AI Decoy, who replaced it the very next day. Problems like that do happen, but in my book, providing that they are addressed quickly and apologetically, then I still regard it as good service and a good product. Yours like mine was obviously a bad batch, but since its replacement, I`ve had no problems whatsoever and the replacement certainly appears to be much beefier around the weld. Hopefully yours will be replaced similarly quickly.
