Love him or hate him the guy knows how to drive 👏

Being good at the job isn't a barometer of the calibre of a man. I notice he's decided to race, despite the other sporting boycotts of sporting events because of yet another shooting of a black chap. Apparently it wouldn't make a difference, so it wasn't worth doing, which could have been said about all the other protests and statements he's made - it's just this time it would have actually cost him something!

He's a once in a generation talent, for sure. I just wish he was likeable to go with it! Still, it's Spa and there's the chance of rain, so it should be a great race anyway

Stick him in a force India or a lesser team car and see if he gets pole. Tgey are all great drivers... But the car and tech/team strategy play a massive part in what has become a follow the leader sport...

Hamilton would get the best that you could get out of that car it's like me I can play the guitar but give the same guitar to Eric Clapton and its another world.

The cars are so far apart.. Even red bull and ferrari are struggling against the mercs. Yes no doubt he is a great driver.

If you want to watch proper ring piece clenching racing then I suggest you watch the motorbike road racing series in northern ireland. I was there at the roadside the year Rutter broke 200mph down the coast road at the northwest 200 race. Unbelievable stuff. Or for entertainment value the irish tarmac rallying is brilliant. I urge you to go to YouTube and check out frank kelly in his mk2 ford escort.
