Variation on lasagne

It's taken a few tweeks over the years but recon I've cracked an exciting variant on our humble lasagne. . . . 

# Roast a butternut squash and let cool then mash it up

# Make a spag bol sauce and add a grated carrot ( even though you may already use chopped carrot), big bag of spinach and spice up with chillies to suit your taste. Let is cool

# Make your layers as normal in your oven dish with your sheets of pasta and mixture and on each layer add ripped pieces of Mozzarella

# On top finish with your last sauce mix and top with your squash mash and push in random amounts of more Mozzarella

# In hot oven for 40mins. . . it's to die for lads
