My regular go to tyre: Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s, apparently are no longer available in my required tyre size: 225/65/r17 102H. Vehicle is a 61 plate Rav 4 .

So am looking for alternatives, Main 2 so far are:

Cooper ATT vs Grabber AT3

A few people have said they didn't rate Grabbers. I always thought they were good on the Nissan Patrol Ambulance I used to drive off road with them on !

TIA

Matt

I have General Grabber AT3' on my Freelander 2. Before that, I had Grabber 2's. They are excellent both on and off road. My 'off roading' is mainly dirt tracks, fields and mud ruts, both wet and dry. I've never had a problem, and they have got me out of a sticky (or muddy) situation many a time. They are also quiet on road. Mine are 235/65/R17. I'm not sure if they are available for your's. Last off, I paid £110 each for them.

I have just put 4 of these Michelin Laritude Cross tyres on my suzuki grand vitara and they seem much better that the old Bridgestone for wet and muddy roads. Reports are good but we shall see, they look a bit odd as the have two tread patterns on each tyre

I used those on my LR90 for Summer time, but reverted to BFG Mud Terrain for Winter/shooting season.

I had a set of those on my Freelander but the mileage from them was poor, not back on General Grabber 3s
