Shooting books

I had the pleasure of a trip to Much Wenlock this week and followed Mrs T into ‘Much More Books’, a second hand bookshop, expecting the worst.

They had a full shelf of shooting books and the same again for fishing and country sports. Brilliant! I restricted myself to Gough Thomas’s Gun Book and The Young Shot by NM Sedgwick.

To top it off, 4 chaps driving 2 Triumph TR5s, a TR6 and a TR7 (I forgave him for the company he kept) parked next to me, so I had a good chat with them.

We spent a few days near Craven Arms. Thoroughly nice spot and a change from London to be among people who say good morning to one another.
