For some inexplicable reason my eighteen months old cocker has to started to bark at anything and everything.

Any ideas thanks.

Are you telling the dog off the second it barks, the first time, every single time?

I’ve noticed that often people ignore the first few barks, then tell the dog off on the 5th or 25th bark 🤣

The dogs already done it a load of times without being told off, it’s no good telling them off too late after doing it 20 times.

Try and get your mate or Mrs to walk past or do whatever sets the dog off and make sure you catch it the second it happens so the dog knows very clearly what is wanted from it.

With mine I will discourage all noise from pups. Yapping dog is a bloody nuisance.

The moment a young dog of mine barks at something unfamiliar it gets scruffed and told ‘No!’ Very quick learning curve.

They do not get a “Good-WOOF-boy, WOOF-it’s-WOOF-ok, WOOF-it’s-WOOF-only-WOOF-the-WOOF-postman-WOOF-delivering-WOOF-letters, WOOF-you-WOOF-don’t-WOOF-need-WOOF-to-WOOF-bark-WOOF-at-WOOF-him-WOOF-he-WOOF-won’t-WOOF-hurt-WOOF-you”.
