If someone knows where there is some of the above and would be kind enough to post some to me, I would be grateful and happy to cover the postage.

Right thought that was a trick question then steve lol

i.ve got a farm full of beech I.ll have a look how many do you want

If you could send a few dozen, that would be great. I intend to plant them, as last year's crop died off for some reason.

                                                 Thanks.

Hi Steve , if you don't get any sent then give me a shout,  think there should be some further up hill from me. Cheers Karl

Thanks Karl. I think I'll be okay, as I'm having some sent by a few members. I'll be in touch should things not work out.

Received yesterday and planted in compost. Hopefully, most of them will germinate.

                      Many thanks again.

no problem hope they sprout good luck with them

if you don't mind me asking what do you do with them steve just plant them out and and about is it

I plant the all into large tubs, and when they germinate, separate them into their own pots (disposable plastic 1 pint cups) and then let them grow for around 6-8 months. They are then offered out to anyone who wants them, so that they can plant them where they chose. In the past 17 years, at least 1200 trees have been handed out around the UK. The furthest being the Isle of Lewis.
