I wasn't expecting too much from a Gen 1 image intensified unit but somewhere near its advertised performance would have been good, but it was not to be.

Consequently, I'm now looking at the Subject piece of kit which as far as I can see has been well received. If I can 'see' 'something' at 300 yards and probably identify it at 200 - thinking fox here - would be the minimum distances necessary (I wasn't expecting the Gen 1 to achieve this, but the Axiom is, after all, three times the price). From what I've read this is apparently 'on', but I would welcome any views from PW members.
