SpringDon
That’s right because the podium is always wall to wall Kawasaki.....oh no, hang on a minute
AVB
I don’t understand motorbike racing but how does superbike compare with MotorGP? Which one is the pinnacle of bike racing?
SpringDon
MotoGP is probably the pinnacle- prototype engine and chassis, carbon brakes and high 200s bhp (actual figure is secret) Superbikes are based on a production bike that then has vast sums of money thrown at the engine and chassis, steel brakes and mid 200s bhp. They are also a bit heavier. But they’d still be quite a handful if you were going down to Sainsbury’s on one.

May have changed now but that was from the man himself, what do I know?
Gordon R
Brilliant achievement from a modest lad. A first for six years in a row, so a large chunk must be down to the rider - previously 3 in a row for Ducati.

Three different riders on a Ducati have won this year, only 2 on a Kawasaki and lowes only won once. That says something to me.

Do you think a Touring car could out pace a F1 car ? World Superbike champ Jonathan Rea was the star of the show and flew home with a big grin on his face after outpacing half the MotoGP grid His astonishing 1m 38.721sec lap on his factory ZX-10R would’ve put him on pole at last May’s Spanish Grand Prix, 0.015 seconds ahead of Valentino Rossi, 0.137 seconds in front of Jorge Lorenzo and 0.170 seconds ahead of Marc Marquez. blackbird
I would love to see Jonathan Rea have another crack at MotoGP he could show the two deadwood brits Cruchlow & Smith how to ride a bike.
