As one of the Boomers I can look back on some brilliant times and great memories of the 60s/70s, but progressive erosion of our ancient personal freedoms over the last 30-40 years saddens me greatly. I feel so sorry for my sons and grandson that they can never know what it's like living in a free country, where responsibility was vested in the individual and based on values bred in by upbringing. Now it almost seems there's a rule book for everything with penalties for non adherence and queues of petty bureaucrats lining up to control behaviour; not to mention the 50+ different state benefits that ultimately undermine self reliance.

It's no wonder we have much acquired helplessness in society where the state assumes the role of Guardian.

Excellent post and I feel exactly the same, I think some of the younger kids today wouldnt even grasp the points you make, (a rubbish analogy I know but) how do you explain to a tiger that's lived in a cage all its life what freedom is?

Not that I condone such things but we used to drive to The Boot at Honily in Warwickshire drink 5/6 pints and raz back in a Cortina gt and think nothing off it. Going to a rave in Birmingham with a spindryer as a loo for the few hundred people there tipping it out of the window when full. Driving up the steps of Coventry Cathedral in a land rover just because we could. Watching the Specials at Tiffany's and the General Wolfe.  The best moments in life captured in memory by the association with music.

Maybe it was just the joy of youth but I can't help thinking everything was just so much more relaxed and accessible.

Damn it man stop dodging the REAL question!

Men who insist on shaved pubic hair on women are usually far too influenced by porn or by paedophilia.

Yes, you heard me right. We know your porn addictions and your "young girl" tendancies - that's what a woman without body hair is.

Women are not toys, we are people. We do not exist to make men happy, or in relation to men.

I wish the women you want to have sex with could see how you talk about them.

I'm wondering if it's the case that under current hate crime legislation such comments could be illegal. Oh wait... My mistake...  Different rules for women right?

The time when I call misogynists out? That's every day, sweetheart. And currently you're ranking about the top one on PigeonWatch. Take a bow, and hope that no woman to I are about ever finds out what you really are.

I agree with ehb102, I find it all a bit odd and Rubinesque.

I often agree with you CF, but this is not helpful.

Personnel preference in lady's grooming habits has nothing to do with liking young girls.

Are you also a member of Mumsnet? As for how I speak about my wife or others on here do, I bet most wife's would shrug. I've heard lots of women gassing about husbands and partners and they're much worse.

If that's the case what about arm pits and legs, top lips etc?  Also a sign of maturity in women.  Lots of women like there men shaved too, are they also into young boys?

Individual choice is never made in a vacuum.

There is a multi million pound industry on encouraging women to strip themselves of all their unsightly hair. The ideal woman apparently looks like a boiled egg with a moustache. Some women may like young boys but there certainly isn't a multi billion dollar industry promoting and encouraging that whilst exploiting young boys. The number of women who exploit male children for personal sexual pleasure is literally negligible on a worldwide basis, (see the Lantern Project for figures) but the percentage of male child abusers who are same sex attracted is thought to be the same as the percentage of the general population, so you can extrapolate from there. Saying "These female individuals are worse than these male individuals" doesn't change anything on a class basis.

People are free to post what they want here, and they should be mindful of the company they keep. This is a public forum with very few females and we all represent part of the shooting community when we post here. We are all inviting comment and discussion simply by posting on an Internet message board. If you wouldn't say it to my face, why would you say it on a public forum here? And if you would say it to my face I am free to answer. If you give it out, you need to be able to take it.

What has Mumsnet got to do with anything? Is that a weak attempt at telling me to leave this manly forum so you can all feel comfortable spouting without a reality check from a mere female? Ooh, I'm so sorry, Sir, I dared to have and voice an opinion. I shall now be silenced forever more.  Let me take my XX chromosomes and go and hang out somewhere where I shan't offend the Lords of Creation by suggesting women are real people. 😄😄😄😄

I would never tell you or any other woman to leave this great forum,  I'd encourage more women to join.

We all have views and are free to air them debate them and agree or disagree.

As for you being a reality check, I don't think we need one but your comments and views are welcome same as mine and others. But my personal preference about body hair and ladies grooming is just that mine, I won't change it for anyone. Same goes for my wife and her views on it.

As for saying men have pedophilic tendencies for not liking hairy women and liking them to shave isn't going to win you any friends.
