sam triple
Went on Mole Valley website to look at shotgun cartridges all that came up was a blank page , have they stopped selling them or just an error on website?
TIGHTCHOKE
No idea, never very good on price or keeping stock. You could of course ring the nearest branch and enquire!
strimmer_13
They are useless, just go in and ask for a print out of what they have in. Then ignore half of that list and you might get close. It seems they do have stupidly cheap clearence carts at times, last year some steel carts were £4 a box Just checked I can't see them either, error come up
oldypigeonpopper
It's a wonder mole valley stores keep trading if that is what strimmer mentioned,
Windswept
Mole Valley has recently changed it's web site to Mole Online and there's very little on it compared to their old site. You can phone and ask, they have been helpful to me in the past.

Farmboy91
I've never found our local one to have anything I've ever actually wanted in stock, Inc clothing.
wymberley
It's looking like a major company re-vamp. Collumpton wasn't too bad and stocked what a lot of local RFDs didn't and as has been said there were some very good bargains to be had. Windswept
They could certainly improve but they are my local shotgun stockist since Cornwall Farmers disappeared. In the past (pre-Covid) I've emailed them and the manager of my local store has offered to collect cartridges from other stores. When I've been in the stores the customer service people can get very busy helping customers so the phone isn't always answered. You could try shortly after the store opens as they are less busy then. Having said all that neither Mole Valley or the RFDs I go to stock most of the cartridges I use (different .410s for example) so I get them online now. Walker570
12years ago I used to use the Mole Valley store near Frome on a regular basis and they had a fantastic selection include fresh meat. I now call at their subsiduary, Mole, at Stamford or Melton Mowbray and those stores always seem to have good stocks BUT I don't go looking for cartridges. I was deeply dissappointed when they where stopped from taking the sight on the A5 near Nuneaton when Countryside Farmers went bust due to very bad management. The competition Commision apparently stopped them taking it over and that is probably why the syores in the east of England are just rgeistered as Mole. I don't have any problems buying from my local gun store for suitable factory made if I require them. If I wanted something out of the way/special then i would probably start with Just Cartridges. I did order a slab of RC 410s from them just to try and can only say the service was excellent.
Charlie Anderson
I called the store in Basingstoke and they got me some gamebore steel and the service was spot on. I would call them rather than trying your luck as I have had the same issue is nothing in stock.
