Historic Handgun

One for the historic handgun fans.

The first polymer striker fired production hand gun, not a Gock as a lot of people think, also being unusual  in being a blow back action in 9MM luger parabellum.

H&K VP07z 9mm 4.5" barrel, polymer frame, original box with paperwork and original test target. One magazine. The first polymer framed hand gun.

But only for sale in Northern Ireland and if you can prove "need". ie: Self defence.

Wrong section too, unless its only shown for discussion and not for sale

Just for discussion, or it would be in the Trading post section.  As for here, target shooting is enough justification / need for a handgun.

People living on the mainland can still get a variation on their FAC to own one as long as they are a member of a club in NI and keep it there. Your FAC is issued by where you live not where you shoot

Yes, and there are some good ranges to shoot at.

It was bloomin' awful! Eighteen round magazine and a horrible horrible trigger pull and in the version with the buttstock that had selective capability to fire three round bursts lead to the conditiin being put on FACs issued at the time "the firearms to which this certificate relates shall not be capable of firing in bursts". Eventually the Tories altered the wording of s5 to make it prohibited by rewriting the section that pertained to fully automatic weapons to also catch burst fire weapons. There was one at Aylestone Gun Company in Leicester in the 1980s with the shoulder stock and nobody ever bought it or wanted to after handling it. Terrible sights also the foresight wasn't a blade as such but a 1/4" wide ramp with a void down the middle supposed to give the illusion of a foresight.

Woy the Wicked Wobber! Everybody had a nickname if you were frequent customer. I being tall and a Richard by first name was "Big D1ck", there was "Tree", "Spanner", "BDF" (Big Daft Frank), "The Video" and Etc.. Poor Roy died of course quite young, aged forty-six, of a brain illness caused by a tumour and the place is now Gildea selling welding equipment in the bit on the side and Wilson Alarms.

Friend of mine once turned up at the range with his brand new H&K or SIG something or other, to show us the polygonal rifling ( so probably an H&K ) and told us he’d polished the sear a bit.

Anyhow, it turned out he certainly had, as it almost emptied the magazine in a single burst, thereby rendering his pistol totally illegal and his warranty void! Happy days! 🙂
