Sure that's camera thread pitch.

Can you not make a 25mm by 1mm external thread, cut some grooves down it and use that to chase and clean threads out. Used this on pipe threads loads over the years.

If I had the right size steel I'd have made you one and posted it to you. 

Any lathe men near you? Or any on here close enough to make you one.

a bit beyond my paygrade that.........my sheds closed now as i shall be moving soon...(hopefully)

That's now getting a bit complicated.

If no-one has one to lend, they are not that expensive to buy, albeit from China
