squirrel shooter
Hi has anyone got muck boots, and if so how do you rate them? I'm interested in the muckmaster and the wetland pro Thanks
oowee
I have had three pairs, they were great for 11 months and then split across the top. Keep the receipt. I now buy Aigle.

millrace
Big heavy clunky slippery as an eel on any frost, shocking warm on anything but a really cold day, tramp round for a days rough shooting and your socks are swimming in sweat..... But,,,,on a dark winters night in 4 inches of watery rushes at a flight pond,,,,,ohhh boy are they just the ticket.....!!
ninjaferret
Had mine for years no problems, a lot warmer than my Le Chameau Chasseur's.

Went a surplus store , had some nice boots , bit like muck boot £30 , still going strong after 3 winters
Ultrastu
I guess there may be plenty of cheap copies of muck boots about to trap the buyer ,as there seems to be 2 distinct camps of thought . Awesome or terrible . We have 7 pairs in my family and they are all going strong after years of use .buy wize

I got all of mine direct from the company and the three pairs were in two cases swapped under warranty for new pairs which also split. I have stopped driving in the wellies now and my current Aigle are fine. The material is visually not that different between the brands and I wonder if driving is a significant factor. 30-6
Very warm, bit clumpy to wear. Would I buy another pair ? DEFINITELY NOT. The rubber outer started splitting and the inner material wore away. Didn't last a year of very little, light use. Add - these were Muckmasters
Scully
I had a pair for a couple of seasons; nice and warm but a bit ‘agricultural’. They hurt my ankles like crazy when I first wore them, but a pair of insoles rectified that.
ditchman
had mine for 9 or so years.........still fine....nice and light....neoprene...nice and warm.......
Walker570
I also have a pair of BOGS which appear to be identical to MUCK but 2/3rds the price. The MUCKS are the shorter variety ideal for shooting days. The BOGS come out for real dirty work.
islandgun
I had a pair of muck boots but after a while the sole seemed to creak and feel disconnected, I bought another pair but find them hot and heavy, back to Landmaster or Dunlop purofoot for me when the mucks wear out

I buy a new pair every year as they look tired but are still always waterproof. I pretty much live in them. Also I never have cold feet in them! JohnfromUK
I have some Muck Boot garden shoes..Quality is fine - and they are lasting well ........... but ........... the rubber used for the soles is incredibly slippery on some materials - notably patio slabs. Far far more slippery than my LeChameau wellies. It was worse when new, but even now they are quite well worn, they need care on surfaces like paving.
