So I just bought a browning 325 that’s in really good condition. And even though it’s only for pigeon shooting and a bit of walked up. 
the varnish/lacquer looked a bit poor so iv sanded it down and added a few coats of boiled linseed oil as I’d seen a few videos on YouTube. It’s made a marvellous difference but just looks a little flat. Don’t really want a shiny finish but may be a bit of shine. 
any recommendations on how to achieve this.
