From the link: “The rave continued into the morning of Sunday, November 1 and saw violent clashes between some attendees and police.

Officers were pelted with bottles and bricks, and body-worn cameras recorded a mob counting down before charging at police.”

Mr Gould, (the “victim’s” solicitor, who specialises in suing the police) said: "Whilst the event was illegal, it was a dance party filled with young people having a good time, yet a small army of police officers and dogs was deployed against them.”

I somewhat feel he has answered his own question there.

Beat me to it on care for the nice doggie.  This is not altogther a new phenomenon(did I spell the right?) over 30 yrs ago whilst on a police response unit we attened two marriage ceremonies in the same Rugby Club building and inevitably fighting broke out.  All of the persons there where told to disperse but you always get one and he taunted our dog handler eventually throwing a stone at the dog.  A flash of black and brown fur and said idiot was decked and his arm being turned into mince meat. I was the dedicated first aider and even with three large ambo pads on the wounds they where still turning red.  then it turned out he was afraid of injections and of course the nice cuddly nurses at East Bham where very gentle.  :no:   I don't think he got much sleep in the cell that night either as we had to by the rules, wake him to check his wound and see if he was ok every hour.

Is the modern term Khama or something:lol:

I got bitten by a police dog at a football match a few years ago. The police then just used to come steaming in letting the dogs bite anybody. I think the dog was ok.

.......s'funny. Didn't really have you down as a football hooligan

Awe feel sorry for the poor woman, after all she was only attending an illegal rave and getting off her nut. Took no notice of the police telling them to leave and to top it all has a go with a police dog.

Wonder if her brief opened with once upon a time, there was a young girl with a red cloak and big nasty doggy.

I like his style admits she was breaking the law and still doing no wrong when the police turned up with a small army, an army really.  Body cams will show what went on, be great to watch her getting a mauling, the poor dog hope it got some shots from the vet so it don't catch anything.
