As long as you don’t watch any live TV from any channel not just BBC.

I didn’t have a tv after splitting from ex and before I moved in with my OH, and received quite a few rather intimidating letters from the BBC. I quite enjoyed playing them along while it lasted. 🙂

OH unfortunately quite likes some BBC programmes, so we have a license agin now, but if it were up to me I’d do without. 
I don’t watch a great deal of mainstream tv nowadays at all, and not a great fan of the BBC establishment.

No we're not!  Any Live TV as it is broadcast, this includes Sky.

More to the point, a Sky dish bolted to the sound of your house will likely confirm to any TVL people that you're a legitimate target for Investigation. Not that it is enough to prove anything in court, they are still dependent on you signing their form (statement) to incriminate yourself.
