The 21 gram pattern ok. Not tried them on the pigeon yet though. Thought I'd have a go during lockdown and while it's quiet.

I have the 21 gram load from them. 

70mm Cheddite case primed 

Vp 90/91 wad

. 410 3mm Cork packer in the wad. 

20 grains maxam ssb 150

21 grams steel shot. 

Looking for alternatives to try out.

Have a look on maxam website, they publish data for each powder.

Maxam case g209 primer 24g steel shot 1.40 g of SSB+150 powder 410mps 750bar

Same case and primer 24g steel shot with 1.32g of SSB+150  375mps 600bar

Data taken from maxam website.

Excellent thanks .  Will look at that. As I said just started reloading 20gauge steel. I've only got  vp90 and 91 wads at the moment there made to take 21 grams of shot max. So they must be using a different wad. Once  I've found a good one for decoying I'll stick with it.
