30-6
My farmer friend is looking for a £150 ish break barrel for his 13 year old son. Doing a quick search SGC can do a bsa meteor Evo for £148, any other suggestions ?
Ultrastu
That should be better than most £150 offerings. could you push to £230 for a HW99 S excellent gun .
clangerman
99s have a galling issue even with the anti galling strip fitted I had one do it straight out of the box turned out linkage rivet was to tight i would increase the budget and buy something decent even if it’s second hand
Mice!
Most gun shops will have second hand guns around that price, worth a look

30-6
Well in the end a BSA meteor was not available anywhere, he went for a look in SGC, and came away with a Gamo swarm whisper, which came with mounts and scope. Had his first squirrel, so happy 13 year old.
