We Don't Do Ourselves Any Favours

I also think there is a third gun on the sign .

If you look at the bottom right corner there is a squiggly track  of impacts (more can be found over the sign) this looks like a full auto rifle shooting  bb s at pretty high speed .

This would have to be either a home made gun or something from a different country as I'm not aware of any such gun imported in the UK.

A tad naive, I'm afraid. Although I couldn't find it after searching, there's a post on here to the effect that a 2 mile stretch of a local road had every sign peppered. The prevalence is such that there simply just cannot be that many illegal guns in the country. We just have to accept that there's some clowns and also some downright idiots holding arms legally.

PS: 15 inches.

That many shots would take a month of shooting if an airgun was used .

No chance .

The shot sign has been there for years!:cool1:

Have a close look at the sign and see the pellets.

Just up the road. 😂 That road is seriously quiet, and I'm not surprised at all. Again non story. I used to live in Co roscommon, around where I lived they were solely used for zeroing your rifle. On a bog, 7ft in the air so no backstop. Scary stuff.

My family's from Roscommon and from Creggs. Another non story but made me smile seeing it mentioned ☘
