We usually buy the family sized ones, both venison and game and they are brilliant when we have had them. My Mrs usually buys them at game fairs but not been on this year. They will deliver for a fee or free if you place a big order. I shared a family (large) venison pie with a mate at work once and he said it’s one of the best pies he’s ever had and it was crammed full of meat. You don’t have to go searching around inside the pastry to find a bit of meat like some pie makers. I do hope their standards have remained the same, I think I’d better get an order in.
