Well I feel like I did my part.

Just love it,, I feel I am living in the wrong country.

Was a bit of a tradition on New Year’s Eve at my house to fire off a few shots out off with the 4 bores (black powder) at midnight.... “i live remotely, so no problem” also it was usually one of the neighbours who got elected to take the shots..... better than fire works and a good laugh....

note:- no shot was loaded in the guns.

Can't believe people on a shooting forum are actually condoning stuff like this...

No bullets in guns, so bystanders are safe, biggest risk is to shooter if they over charge and gun is damaged.

Lots of 'fun' happened (and in certain company stil happens) before the PC,  Health and safety crowd took over.

Nobodyimportant, do any of your countrymen and women actually shoulder the arms or do they all adopt this strange crouching fetal position?

The away from face position is due to the large charges.  Most people use correct amount of powder nowadays  but it’s kinda like a traditional thing.  But yes people do shoulder them.  Cap and ball pistols are also popular.

99% are just shooting marshmallows, paper balls, foam ear plugs.  But there is always that one idiot.
