henry d
Went for a walk today to somewhere I used to help with the cull until about 6-7 years ago. Normally I don't like to go back to places I used to frequent in the past as they have changed totally. The Stout House became a flash pub, then fast food. But this place has mellowed, trees have grown, hedges removed, others have been planted, the deer are still there, foxes too, didn't see the other less well known animals that were sometimes seen, but the hills are still stunning! Happy memories of stags, hinds, does and bucks, fox, geese and friends still here and long gone. . .
WalkedUp
I agree with you about not wanting to trying to step back in the footprints of find journeys. Leave crystalline memories unsullied by disappointing return.
