That's funny, of the the hundreds of fish I've brought home, this was the first to impress my 6 year old boy. Kids are a tough crowd!

henry d
I'd prefer if ABT were more that size than the size they are, at least I would have the chance of landing one from the kayak 🤣

Houseplant
It's been awesome eating. As sashimi, I would describe it as very tender, melt-in-your mouth steak in terms of texture. I just keep going back for more. We've seared quite a lot of it too, leaving about 75% of the loin uncooked. That's been good as well. I've given quite a lot away to friends. At a market rate of NZ$40/kg for imported fish, it's been very gratefully received! The considerable remainder has been vacuum packed and frozen which is a bit of a shame as fresh is best, but there's no way we could get through that amount of fish in a timely manner. London Best
I can smell it just looking at the picture. That’s not good because I can’t sit at the same table as someone eating fish. The smell makes me throw up.
ratchers
That must have tasted so good fresh, maybe not quite as nice from frozen but it will still be good and you caught it, fantastic.👍
