So long as it's serviceable it's got a new lease of life.

I have watched people do leatherwork and also the internet videos, to make a good job each stitch takes a lot more time than I ever thought it would.  Place stitch then tension, thread it then lock it in the back with more thread. When redone properly it looks very good.

Glad you understood it was in jest. I always forget that on the internet if you joke with some people, like you do in life with your mates, it is easy to accidentally cause upset.
