Due to very recent experience of this happening on my car,  It might be worth checking which fuse is for the starter solenoid and then check that.......just an option

It tries to start, just doesn't have enough to go for it. So dash all comes up, shows system check complete, then turns over but geta weaker and fails then tries again but completely fails.

Chuck some.jump.leeds on it see if it fires then, if not may be crank shaft sensor when they wear out it wont read properly easy swap.out one bolt

Just had a look on landy zone and the common fault is the heated wing mirrors staying on and drains the battery over remove the fuse to the mirrors and bump it you never know

Does the immobiliser light go out when the ignition is switched on?.

Yeah all lights fine just fails to start, it tyrns ovdr just doesn't get tge final bang to get it going. Battery will charge again and be okay if used everyday, but its not getting that use, so is either earth or a sensor gone. From what ive read online and you guys have said.

Have charged battery, and its starting fine. The dash imob light flashes weather it locked or not. Have turned off the cabin lights and left it unlocked, will see in a few days how it behaves. Biggest issues at moment is im not doing long journeys, and heater and lights on. But a new battery shouldn't run flat on alarm in just a week.

So have now charged again as over night having it armed drained, left it running on drive for about 30 minutes amd then didn't lock it. Seems okay, so must be the alarm doing it but surely it should not drain it in a week or just over night.. Maybe its due to lack of use this year.

My brother had a similar fault with a range rover, and after a long time investigating and lots of money spent it turned out that the remote control for his new central heating was "waking up" the alarm/locking system and the car was waiting for the remote signal to be unlocked. the cure was to park it the other way round on the drive-no more flat battery.
