Excellent video and excellent shooting, well done.👍
The change in gauges made for some interesting viewing, its much like your pigeon/.410 videos, if the bird is in range you will kill it, just shoot appropriately.
We need more videos from you, they are always worth watching.

I saw this video on your You Tube channel and have been watching the "Sporting Shooting Videos" section to see if you had posted it here, it was only by chance I noticed it in the Wildfowling section.

Unfortunately MM You hit the nail on the head my driving distance to lough neagh is 17 miles my coastal fowling 25-30 miles one way so my season was practically over when this new lockdown came into affect I agree the restrictions will probably move into March I also contacted BASC AND they confirmed it regarding travel distance for shooting Roll on next season

I am in the same boat. 15 miles from home to any coastal fowling i have, so season was  effectively over for me, when we locked down.

There will be other seasons, we can just hope for better years to come.

Unfortunately this terrible virus is probably gonna change hunting for the foreseeable future But hoping your right on better years to come The only species that benefit are the wildfowl 😉

I think game shooting has been much harder hit.

In our area we've practically had 4 ex. 5.5 months ... so pretty good, and I expect next season to be fully available.

Agree financially game shooting been harder hit We wildfowlers shoot less birds than say a driven day

Some first class shooting and plenty of work for your Lab .

Do you have a self imposed limit with geese ? ,

I don't usually have a limit as such, but that was enough for me on that day. 8 was enough to carry 500 yards back to the truck with 3 guns, decoys and cartridges etc. I would have been quite happy with a couple, but I wanted to complete my "3 gun challenge".

I think you missed a trick, you could have brought the rest of the cabinet with you, and had one gun for each skein 😂

I do like to mix it up!

Yes you were shooting them in a true wildfowling style. Not the Goose shooting you see inland at all.

Nice video and Good sportsmanship.

Thank you!

I'm glad you still enjoy the videos. I will hopefully make some more pigeon videos in the next couple of months. I am really looking forward to shooting some woodies again.

Well done  mate 👍 i was on a good foreshore roll until we got stopped. Not the same but had quite a few Local Grey's and Penquin's . Try  a 1oz 70mm case load in your 20ga 😉

Cheers.

I haven't been to the marsh as much this season (due to personal reasons), but I still had some great flights, putting a good amount of pinks in the bag. I know a few others that have had record seasons on the marsh.

I will try a 1oz load in the 20. 👍
