I admit I just hate gloves for anything. I have a pair of sealskins which I do wear on driven days. They are the skin tight type and do help to kep fingers warm.  I have various other gloves but non of them work SOOOOO  I now buy the 99p packets of hand warmers,  two in each packet so one for each hand warmer pocket in my jacket and they last a good 8 hrs getting warmer as the day wears on.  Yes, I have tried them all even a pair from Cabela's which had batteries to warm them, but they got donated to a friend.

As a maker then I would say Sealskins as they do appear very well made.

Mostly, my hands are colder with gloves than without. Bad circulation to the fingers.
BUT, I have found my best option is a thin fleece fingerless glove with a thinsulate lining and fold back mitt. I also use a pair with wool/thinsulate instead of fleece/thinsulate.
