bought the car 4 years ago, it had a new cam belt fitted should i replace it now,i have only done 1200 miles with it.if i do how much to change it, thanks.

Have you missed a zero out there? As @TIGHTCHOKEsays, they've got big intervals in them so even if you've done 12k on it, it's probably still fine, but 1.2k? no chance. I'm assuming it's not making any noise?

100,000 miles or 10 years according to Ford. Nowhere near changing.

This. It should have been changed in 2015 or at 100k whichever was sooner. Have a look at the service book or near the Cambelt where some garages write the date of change.

Looking at ford cambelt time and miles changes you are ok 60,000 100,000 or ten years like has been said ,I don't think you have said what engine it is but this should cover all. All cam belts had a so many months added to milage for people who just leave car ticking over for hours on end.
