Browning A5 16 bore info

Recommended Posts

One thing I do know about the A5 16 bore is that it was designed to be used the roll turn over cases . As a result some of the olde ones will have ejection problems when using crimped cases . There are several videos from the States where people have made modifications . All of which would render the gun out of proof in the UK and I would not undertake to do .

Thank you all, looks like shes a 1926 made gun, the British rola bit is interesting. I wonder why they where stamping guns ? If it was a 12 bore then I could understand IE the war, but a 16bore ???

Looks like it could of been a “lend lease” gun from the USA.
